Lôn Ffrwd, Llandwrog

Lôn Gul/Lôn Ffrwd has been a topic of conversation for many years, especially when large or wide vehicles attempt to use it. It is apparent that 'Sat Navs' navigate a number of cars and vans along this road and, of course, the vehicles take the full width of the lane. Local residents regularly use this lane for walking, cycling and walking their dogs traffic-free (most of the time) and when a vehicle approaches, there is no space to overtake and people must turn back and find a wider area for the vehicle to pass, which can be dangerous. Blue signs are present at both ends of the lane, warning traffic not to use it.

The lane is important to the residents of Ffrwd and those who live at the far end of Llandwrog to access the cemetery and is also important to the landowner who needs access to feed and keep an eye on his animals.
