WORK FOR THE COUNCIL

26/10/24 - 3 year Ground Maintenance Contract 2025-2028 --The Council is keen to receive Tenders from contractors for agreements to provide a service over a period of three years from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2028 to maintain cemeteries, football pitches and public footpaths in the villages of Y Fron, Carmel, Y Goeslon, Llandwrog and Dinas Dinlle. Mainly, the work involved involves cutting vegetation. The deadline for receiving Tenders is 15 November 2024. A Tender will not be considered valid if received after that.

The tender period starts 4 November 2024 and closes 2 December 2024

LAND, CEMETERIES & FOOTPATHS

The Council has several statutory rights and duties. These include looking after over 30 miles of public paths which are open to the public and is also a Burial Authority in charge of three cemeteries within the community boundary namely Llandwrog, Bryn`Rodyn (Y Groeslon) and Carmel cemeteries.
