Coronavirus - Grants for Vulnerable People

Llandwrog Community Council is urging everyone to keep an eye on the vulnerable people of our community in these difficult times.
If any voluntary organization in our community needs financial assistance to support our vulnerable and isolated people the Council is offering an initial grant of £100 to one organisation for each village Llandwrog and Dinas, Dinlle, Groeslon, Carmel and Y Fron.

Brief details of any scheme is requested. We will ask for a report or evidence of expenditure at the end.

What can be supported?

• Running costs of the group to provide support to vulnerable people in the Llandwrog Community, including packed lunches for residents.

Examples might include:

• Enable older people to have nutritious meals by linking them to services that provide foods, and / or ready meals.
• Reaching out to isolated older people by telephone, and befriending where possible
• Enable older people to keep warm by accessing home heating oil or warm clothing

The following information will be required:

1. Full name of the organization / group applying
2. The name and address, telephone number and email address of the person making the request
3. Bank details – sort code and bank account
4. Details of the activity
